Shenandoah Co-op To Increase Loan

The Shenandoah Electric Co-operative yesterday was authorized by the State Corporation Commission to borrow an additional $273,000 from the Rural Electrification Administration.

The loan, carrying an interest charge of 2.72 per cent, will be spent on construction of extensions to the rural power lines which the co-operative has started in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley.
